i bought my usual NYDJ size, 14, and they fit well, sit at my waist, and are almost full length on my 5’6″ self. Slightly ankle length. I was concerned that the leg opening might be too large and flap around, but it isn’t (I tend to wear almost all Sheri Slims, with a smaller leg opening). I like the faded look of the Afterglow fabric and the slightly different look to the legs. I’ll wear these a lot starting about now and thru much of the summer — the fabric is pretty sturdy, so may be too warm in the hot part of the summer. Very nice jeans!!

I bought this in my usual NYDJ size , 14, and it fits just right. Sits at my waist (required) and somewhat fitted to the knee, then straight. I was concerned that the larger than usual leg opening size (I typically prefer sheri slim) would be flappy and large looking — not my thing. Surprisingly, it isn’t! It looks a bit larger than “straight” cut, because it is, but looks good, even at the ankle length that 29″ inseam is on me. They’re slightly different from my usual jeans, attractive, and I love the faded/worn looking Afterglow finish. This is fairly heavy weight fabric (see its content) but okay for spring and fall, probably not for the heat of summer here in CO.
